| The night before one exam, twostudents tied one on, (well, actually, tied two on, one each), and managed tosleep through the final. They realized they were in serious trouble, so theyagreed to tell the professor that they had a flat tire on the way to the exam. ``No problem." said the Professor, ``Come by my office at 5 P.M. and I'll giveyou the exam then." Feeling pretty clever, the students spent the interveningtime getting information on the exam from students who had already taken it, andmaking sure they knew how to do the problems. Coming to the professor's officethat evening, they were told, ``Leave your books in my office, and I'll putyou in two separate rooms for the exam." They were both ecstatic to see thatthe Professor had given them the exact same exam taken by the class that morning. However, there was an additional page tacked on the end, upon which was written,``For 50% of the grade, which tire was flat?" |

| So there are people who I hear all the time tell me to "treat people fairly because karmas gonna back for you." What i say back to them is: "Ok, is that a THREAT?" Like, I don't really know what to think of that. What I really hear is that the only reason that you should do good to others is to save your own ass? Haha. How about doing good to someone just for the sake of doing good. Even if you don't anything good in return, what would you call that, wasted effort? I mean, most of the time I do something good for someone else, I don't get anything back in return. In fact, sometimes I risk my own well-being for anothers. I dont think it is wasted effort though. Also i see people all the time looking out for their own assses and do wrong to others, but get no bad karma in return. So my question is , Do you believe in Karma? Why or why not?
